I Am Linux

I enjoy the banter between the Mac vs PC commercials as much as the next person, but every time I watch them I feel a bit sorry for all thsoe people out there who are missing out on something more. This is mostly a commentary about software and systems out there, but I'm definitely pushing Linux.

Why a Windows section on a site that's about Linux? Unforutnately a good computer technician familiarizes him or herself with as many different types of software as possible. And since Windows is the most widely-used OS out there, I'd be remiss in my duties if I did not have a least a basic familiarity with it. As such I do have installations of XP and Windows 7 that I occasionally play with. But not Vista. That would just be masocistic.

Also, if I don't use Windows at least a little bit, I can't stand up in an argument about why people should be using Linux.

Using Linux isn't about being a Mac or a PC, I can use it on anything. With my favorite OS I am stable, I am safe, I am fast, I am user-firendly, and I am pretty. I am Linux.
